Release Notes
A running log of what's new in StudioPulse. Updates ship continuously — no app store required.
- Suggested messages in every report card — Lapsing, New Clients, and Celebrations cards now include a suggested message tailored to that member, with one-tap Email and Text buttons to send it directly from the report
- Studio-type-aware messaging — suggested messages are written to match your studio type so the language sounds like you, not a generic template
- Blog: How to win back a lapsed member — message templates for every studio type and a breakdown of the win-back window
- Clickable member names — member names in Lapsing, New Clients, and Celebrations reports now link directly to their profile in Mindbody or Mariana Tek, so you can pull up their record without leaving the email
- Blog: Mindbody and Mariana Tek dashboards — new post on why dashboards are the wrong tool for retention work, and what studio owners actually need instead
- Studio-type-aware AI tone — StudioPulse detects your studio type (yoga, pilates, barre, cycling, boxing, and more) from your studio name and writes narratives in the right voice and context for your format
- Client type labels — member cards now show Drop-in, Class Pack, Unlimited, or ClassPass based on most recent purchase
- Unconverted trial tracking for Mindbody — studios using a 2-week unlimited intro offer now see unconverted trial members in their New Clients report (previously Mariana Tek only)
- Connection confirmed email — when your Mindbody account syncs successfully for the first time, you receive a confirmation with what to expect from your first report
- Day-2 and day-7 onboarding emails — after your first report, you receive a how-to guide and a week-1 check-in
- Two new blog posts — retention rate benchmarks for boutique studios, and the ghost member question
- One-click Email and Text buttons — each lapsing member card now shows an Email and/or Text button pre-filled with a personalized outreach message, ready to send from your own inbox or messages app
- AI-drafted outreach messages — the pre-filled message is written by AI in first person, from you to the member — warm, brief, and specific to their situation. Not the owner analysis, a message you can actually send
- Opt-out aware — Email button is suppressed for members who have opted out of email; Text button is suppressed for members who have opted out of SMS
- Clickable member profile links — member names in Lapsing, Celebrations, and New Clients reports now link directly to their profile in Mariana Tek, so you can act without leaving the email
- Last visit on birthday cards — Celebrations report now shows how long ago each birthday member last visited, color-coded by recency so you can prioritize outreach at a glance
- Mariana Tek subdomain setting — studios can now enter their Mariana Tek subdomain in Studio Settings to enable member profile links across all reports
- Sender name fix — report emails now correctly show "StudioPulse" as the sender name
- Blog: Revenue risk in your active member list — new post on the revenue hiding in your active member list, with real anonymized data
- Blog: Monthly studio performance review — new post on what a monthly studio performance review should actually look like
- Timezone-aware scheduling — reports are now delivered at the correct time for each studio's local timezone, not UTC
- Duplicate send protection — an idempotency guard now prevents the same report from being sent twice if the scheduler retries
- Stripe billing verified end-to-end — checkout, trial conversion, and cancel-at-period-end all confirmed working
- Infrequent visitor badge — Celebrations report now flags members with fewer than 12 visits per year who haven't been in for 14+ days
- Returning member detection — New Clients report correctly identifies returning members with 10+ prior visits and distinguishes them from true new clients
- Import failure alerts — when a Mindbody sync fails, you receive a friendly reconnect email; we receive a technical alert so we can help
- Resend activation email — a "Resend activation email" link now appears in your integrations panel when your Mindbody Site ID is on file but the connection hasn't been completed
- Auto-add owner as recipient — when you register, your email address is automatically added as a report recipient so your first reports arrive without any extra setup
- Mariana Tek webhook handler — StudioPulse now listens for real-time events from Mariana Tek (member, reservation, membership, class, pass), ready for when the API integration ships
- Lifecycle emails — automated emails for day-3 credentials nudge, day-27 trial warning, trial expiration, and upgrade confirmation
- Platform-aware welcome email — Mindbody studios get Mindbody setup instructions; Mariana Tek studios get Mariana Tek instructions
- Free trial signup — 30-day free trial, no credit card required
